9!!!

Our delivery dr. just checked how far along kat was... and is now 9cm
dilated... though she does have a little fever... so they are going to
give some antibiotics. and we now have a heart monitor on the baby's
head. Shut the potasome off. and gave her some oxygen. that's all for
now! hopefully baby will be out next Post!!! =D

A Little Uncomfortable

for the past hour and a half it had seem that the epidural was wearing
down. and the pain for Katrina was getting really bad. So the
anastigioligist (how ever you spell it) came to try to help. gave her
more meds.. but nothing was happening.. then she pulled out the needle a
little and that seemed to have helped out a lot.

Made me very worried =/

Kat Still Calm

doc just checked how far along Kat was about 10 minutes ago... and she
said she was about 6cm 90% and 0... kat should have explained what those
numbers were in earlier posts... the doc said she'd be back in like 2
hours to see how the progress was...

we are now at 5cm!!! =D pain is a lot less... hopefully soon lil baby
will be out! =D

didn't want the epi... but Kat saw that she was gonna need one put in...
so the nurses just got done putting it in.

Water Broke!

Dr. just broke the water... so anytime now =D

walk walk walk

Today Hugo & I went to the mall to walk.. I'm told walking is the best way to jump start labor. We ended up going to the pet store to see all the cute puppies.. There are some really cute APRI chihuahuas; they were mostly tan & some were tan & white.. soo small!! We were also watching the mice, and there was one that was just running on the wheel and it was VERY entertaining.. it would start running and then stop and it'd hang on & flip over and over lol.

Anyways, nothing has really changed.. we walking for a couple hours and nothing happened.. I think the baby is just being stubborn like mommy!! lol Tomorrow is the big day.. YIPPIE! I'm soo not looking forward to being induced with Pitocin, i hear bad things about pitocin contractions.. But we'll see how it goes.. wish me luck!!

Okay, so today I had another doctor's appointment & we pretty much found out that i am about 3 1/2 cm dilated and in early labor... My OB advised us to stay in town just in case i do go into active labor.. The weather has been really crappy; raining and freezing. Tomorrow is suppose to snow, so i'm glad we came to forks when we did.

If i don't go into labor on my own, I get induced Wed. morning... Hugo & I went to the movies tonight, we went to watch Paul Blart; it was pretty funny.. Well that's all i got for now, Stay posted for updates!!

Almost time!

Got to Grand Forks a few hours earlier... due to the bad weather we were
having up in town. So we escaped it and are gonna stay here in forks
till baby shows up.

My parents are gonna come visit at the end of the month for a few days.
That should be interesting. Unfortunately Cookie will be staying at home
in RI with a family friend.

We went to our Doc appointment, though it wasn't our regular doc, but
Kat's 3cm Dilated. We're also going to wait for our regular doctor cuz
she was doing a delivery. So about another hour or so to find out what's
going on. =)

Two More Days!!!

So, we've got 2 more days left... and then we shall have our little out
so we could see who's been kicking us from the inside of Kat's belly. Im
very excited! Just hope that Kiki takes everything well... an loves the
baby as much as we will. As you know if baby doesn't come out
Tuesday... it'll be back to the hospital early Wednesday morning to be
induced... im not looking forward to waking up that early... but hey...
we gotta do it =D I then get a week off of work... which is awesome!!!

Still waiting...

I had another doctor's appointment on the 2nd and nothing has really changed ;still at 2cm dilated. She stripped my membranes hoping maybe that would get things moving a little. I heard that stripping the membranes was really painful, but surprisingly I didn't feel a thing lol. It's now the 3rd and i don't think anything has really happened yet.. but there's still time.

 The doctor made an induction appointment for Wednesday Feb. 11th, but we are both hoping that it won't come to that.. my mucous plug has come out, so i'm thinking it'll be before that.
